Hear stories of how freed people built Durham, the wealth and influence of the Cameron family, and how sharecropping shaped the lives of African American families post-Emancipation. All of this will be revealed during in-person tours at Historic Stagville in Durham, Saturday, Feb. 20.
Tours are 75 minutes and offered at 12 noon, 2 and 4 p.m. Admission is $5.00 and reservations at eventbrite.com are required. Tours are limited to 12 participants and require walking and driving.
