Cost is $50/person in advance via event­brite.com by 7/22 or $60 at the door. Pro­ceeds go to UNC Children’s Hospital. Parking is free after 5 at Bell Tower lot.

UNC men’s soccer opens fall season with home exhibitions at new UNC soccer stadium beside Carmichael against Stetson Aug. 16 and N.C. State Aug. 18. Games begin at 7. UNC women’s soccer opens home season Aug. 22/ 25 in Carolina Nike Classic and includes UNC /Duke at 6 Aug. 25. They also play again Oct. 10 at Duke (7 p.m.). UNC hired a Raleigh PR outfit to promote the new season at new stadium.

UNC men’s basketball will play Wofford Dec. 15 at UNC’s Carmichael Arena. Season opener is Nov. 1 exhibition against Winston-Salem State in the Smith Center.
