Carrboro plans to re-start the tackle loaner program in July. Call 919-918-7364 to check on its status. The program, which was shut down during the pandemic, allows fishers to borrow equipment (rod and reel) for free and return it the next day.

Jordan Lake will not offer any Catch A Sure Thing (CATCH) youth fishing clinics until the spring of 2022, according to State Parks officials. Falls Lake was #5 in Southeast.

Graham-Mebane Lake in Mebane fishing hours are 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily except Tues­day. N.C. fishing license required. Fees are charged. They also rent kayaks, canoes, jon boats. Call 919-563-6544 for information.
