’27 Brazil Women’s World Cup Draw, Team USA Games

The draw for the 2027 Women’s World Cup in Brazil (32 teams) takes place Dec. 11 in Rio de Janeiro. Matches will be played June 24-July 25 in eight cities. Each city has at least seven matches including one knockout game.

The opening game and the final will be played in Rio, the third place game in Sao Paulo. Ticket info will be announced shortly by FIFA.

USWNT Schedule

The USWNT plays defending WC champion Spain twice (Oct. 10, 2:30 p.m., Wash­ington, D.C.; Oct. 13, 7 p.m., West Chester, PA, in international friendlies before meeting El Salvador  Nov. 27, 2:30 p.m. (Jamaica v. Costa Rica TBD) in Midlands, TX, in CONCACAF qualifying for the WC. The winner gets an automatic bid. The games are on TBS, TNT, Universo. TV plans for WC qualifiers TBA.

USMNT hosts post World Cup friendlies against Peru Sep. 26, 4:30 p.m. in Orlando, Chile Sep. 28, 8 p.m. in St. Louis before playing Mexico Oct. 3, 10 p.m., Glendale, AR, and Canada, Oct. 6, 8 p.m., St. Paul, MN. Games are on TNT and Universo.
