The number of former UNC players on Major League Baseball opening day rosters dropped from five to three this year–Zac Gallen, Arizona Diamondbacks, Michael Busch, Chicago Cubs and Cooper Criswell, Seattle Mariners. The number goes to four if you include Walt Weiss, manager of the Atlanta Braves.
