Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo (50 trucks) wraps up the season Saturday, Sep. 21, from noon to 6 on Fayetteville Street downtown.

Efland Ruritan Rodeo takes place Oct. 4-5 off US70 in Efland. Shows are 7:30 p.m.; tickets at the gate.

The 9th Bluegrass at Moorefields, five bands, in Hillsborough, will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, from 1 to 6; tickets from eventbrite.com.

The 36th Sculpture in the Garden, works by 50 artists, continues through Dec. 8 at the N.C. Botanical Garden, Chapel Hill.

The first La Fiesta del Pueblo was held 30 years ago at Lincoln Center in Chapel Hill with 1,000 attending. The 2024 edition of what is now the Triangle’s largest salute to Latin American culture takes place Sunday, Sep. 15, from noon to 6 at City Plaza, downtown Raleigh, is expected to draw 25,000+. The festival features live music, dance performances, educational exhibits, food vendors.

Durham Oktoberfest, presented by the Glass Jug,  will be held Sep. 21 5-11 at Durham Central Park with beer, food, music.

The N.C. State Fair will be Oct. 17-27 in Raleigh. Advance tickets for kids, adults, rides are available online at ncstatefair.org and will save you money through service fees are charged. At the gate, admission will be $13 for adults, kids $7.

Other tasty festivals: 6th Fiesta Italiano, Sep. 21, Hunter St. and Town Hall campus, Apex, 11-7, and International Festival, Sep. 21. 2-6 on Town Hall Drive, Morrisville, for music, art, food, dance. Park at Cedar Fork Park and take a shuttle.
