UNC golf teams are getting a new team and training center at Finley Golf Course.
The town approved a special use permit for the two-story, 13,000 sq. ft. building on three acres in late January. The building will have locker rooms, lounge, offices, meeting spaces and study areas. The lobby will feature golf memorabilia for both the women and men’s teams.
The new team building will be built next to the 18th green which used to be the 9th green before the course was renovated in 2023 by Davis Love III. Details for the project haven’t been announced.
