No more JV basketball at UNC after 53 years.
The House NCAA settlement said college basketball teams are only permitted to have 15 players on the team (the judge subsequently ruled you can go over that number this season to retain players who would have otherwise been cut to get to 15).
The limit of 15 doesn’t allow for a JV team, so unless the rule changes we won’t be able to field a JV team, UNC told CSN.
