Webster’s Rock the Hill indoor climbing competition will be held March 13-15 at the Chapel Hill Community Center. It will be the 37th edition, longest running event of its kind in the country, and the final one on the original wall before it is replaced later in the spring.
The wall covers more than 5,000 sq. ft. of rock, wood, bolts, holds, with 40 routes.
Registration is under way. Climbers complete the route March 13 (9am-3pm) or March 14 (9-3 or 3-9) at the Community Center. Top three (M/F/non binary) scorers in each division advance to March 15 finals starting at 2 p.m.. They will be livestreamed. Five divisions: youth, recreational, intermediate, open, adaptive.
