Winter Olympics in Milan/Cortina to add a new sport, ski mountaineering which combines uphill sprinting (on boots and skis) and downhill skiing. It’s a popular backcountry sport that will debut in February and feature men/women sprints and a mixed relay. The Olympics are Feb. 6-22 (NBC).
