Megan Smith Lyon is the UNC softball coach. Her situation is different from most. Her husband Corey Lyon is a UNC assistant softball coach and hitting instructor so “she’s the boss at home and at work,” she told the Chapel Hill Sports Club with a smile. Megan’s a former UNC player and coached at Marshall and other schools before coming to UNC in 2023.
