Duke University Golf Club (Durham) joins the ranks of U.S. Open Qualifying local sites May 11. In past years Duke was among the handful of final qualifying sites At local qualifying golfers play 18 holes (110 courses); final qualifying (18 sites) is 36 holes.
Online registration for the ‘26 Open starts Feb. 18 at champs.usga.org. Last year there were 10,202 entries. Other N.C. qualifying sites/dates are River Landing, Wallace, May 6; The Cardinal by Pat Daye, Greensboro, May 12.
