Carrboro Kite Fly

The annual Carrboro Kite Fly will be held Sunday, March 8, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Anderson Park off NC54. Free, open to all ages. Bring your own kite. If it rains, it’s canceled.

The next issue of CSN (March 18) coincides with the start of the NCAA men’s tournament and wraps up prior ACC action, plus the first batch of running and biking results and previews of spring activities like OWASA lakes reopening. CSN continues looking for an outdoor writer to do monthly columns for the paper. Turning your interest in fishing, boating, birding into 800-word monthly adventures is the goal.
