Krispy Kreme Challenge

Anthony Sanchez-Padillia (35:35) of Chapel Hill was the top local finisher (12th) at the 22nd Krispy Kreme Challenge in Raleigh. There were 2,248 finishers with WTs 32:17 and 40:20. Runners ran 2.5m, ate a dozen glazed donuts and ran another 2.5m.

In the Non Challenger Race, Neal Duncan (36:25) of Chapel Hill was the top local runner  (9th). Times for top finishers were mucked up. There were 2,644 finishers for the 5 miler.

Overall, there were 5,710 participants in both races, 63 percent male. Proceeds went to the UNC Children’s Hospital.
