Repair Cafe NC will be held Saturday, April 11, 1-5 p.m. at Whitted Meeting Room, in the county’s Whitted Building, 300 W. Tryon St., Hillsborough. Bring your broken items, clothing, electrical or mechanical items, and  experienced personnel will help you fix them.

AgFest Saturday, March 28, at Chatham Co. Ag & Conference Center, US64W, Pitts­boro, offers something for everybody, 10-3. There will be games, contests and activities for kids, food trucks, info sessions for gardeners, large and small. Free. Additional parking and shuttle service provided to AgFest from Chatham Community College campus main building.

A Family Fun Day is planned April 11 from 11 to 2 at Orange Co. Sportsplex, Hillsborough, with games, contests and basketball competitions. Check the website.

Ceramic art installation at Pritchard Park (Chapel Hill Library) opens  Saturday, March 21, 1-3 p.m. The opening of  “Faces of the Forest” features 12 ceramic faces by Levi Ya­kubu and a talk by the artist, nature walk. Free.
