Hubert Davis won at least 20 games in each of his five seasons. UNC finished fourth in the ACC this year. He was Coach of the Year in 2024.
Davis played for the Tar Heels from 1988 to 1992 and 12 seasons in the NBA. He was an assistant coach under Roy Williams for nine years, helping UNC win the national title in 2017. He was named head coach in April 2021 after Williams retired.
