The Lake Wheeler Invitational is an annual intercollegiate women’s rowing event co-hosted by Duke and UNC. Some 20 schools will be participating. Competition takes place at Lake Wheeler Park in Raleigh April 24-25.
Spectators are welcome! There’s no admission charge, but parking is $20. If you’d like to volunteer, parking is free all weekend. Concessions will be available.
Racing will take place on Friday, April 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a lunch break, and will resume from 2:15 to 5 p.m. On Saturday racing will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
There is limited bleacher seating, so spectators are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
