Tobacco Road Relay

The Real Race Scenario, a 6-member team from Raleigh, had the best time (9:28:51) for the Tobacco Road Relay, 75m from Chapel Hill to Raleigh (40 teams).

God Did of Durham, 3 runners, was fourth overall (9:47:41) and the only Ultra Random division team. F3 Bad Decisions of Mebane (11:26:45) was third among four masters teams.

RIC-Green of Chapel Hill (12:48:48) was first of four women’s teams and 28th overall. Running in Circles Blue (12:27:46) of Chapel Hill was the only entry for master women.

The U.S./Canada/Mexico host the 48-team event starting June 11, 104 matches at 16 venues (13 in the U.S.).

The U.S. opener is June 12 at 9 p.m. in California. Game 2 June 19 against Australia in Seattle and game 3 against Turkey. June 25 in Los Angeles.
