Chapel Hill recreation facilities will have new hours starting July 6:
Community Center, 10-6 Mon-Fri, 9-6 Sat, 12-5 Sun.
Homestead Aquatic Center, 6-8 Mon-Thu, 6-7 Fri, 10-6 Sat, 12-5 Sun.
Hargraves Center, 10-8 Mon-Fri, 9-6 Sat, 12-5 Sun.
AD Clark outdoor pool, Mon-Sat 12-8, Sun 12-5.
Teen Center, 4-9 Mon-Sat, closed Sun.
Hours were adjusted to better meet the community’s needs, based on previous usage They’ll open a little later, close a little earlier, city rec officials said, and they expect to save $70,000 over the next budget year.
Most facilities will be closed Juneteenth, July 4 and Labor Day.
