Moore Square World Cup Soccer Party June 11-14 In Raleigh

Soccer Square Fan Fest is a four-day World Cup soccer party and community fan festival at Moore Square, 201 S. Blount Street, Raleigh, celebrating the opening weekend of the 2026 World Cup, June 11-14.

Among the match broadcasts: Mexico v. South Africa game June 11 will be shown live at 3 p.m.; USA v. Paraguay June 12 at 9 p.m.; Brazil v. Morocco June 13 at 6 p.m.; Netherlands v. Japan June 14 at 4 p.m.

The event will feature match screenings on a large outdoor screen, food trucks, a beer garden, lawn games, and interactive soccer-themed activities every day. On select days, meet North Carolina Courage players for fan engagement.

Soccer Square Fan Fest is free to attend. Food and drink will be available for purchase. No registration required.

SN will make some format changes for the next edition in July to reduce the editor’s workload. The paper will continue with a monthly feature (like Way Too Early ACC Hoops next month), road and bike race results, local league updates and rec news. The idea is to reduce the number of pages and the amount of content so he can take some time off and travel. Many of CSN’s former writers have already retired.
