Fall leagues across southern Orange County are holding registration for co-rec and women’s volleyball in Chapel Hill—$125/team, as well as men’s rec softball—($200 deposit required). Signup is by teams. Leagues start in early September and play twice a week.
Carrboro has co-rec ultimate frisbee ($42/player) and co-rec softball ($200 deposit required) at Anderson Park. Leagues begin late August with twice-weekly game nights. Signup deadline is 7/31.
Durham offers Bull City co-rec kickball at Herndon Park (16 teams and it’s already half full). Register as a team or free agent ($28/player Durham residents, others $43). Games begin Sep. 3. Teams need at least 8 players. Signup closes July 26 for new Cary coed kickball league (Mon/Wed at Bond Park) starting mid August. Cost is $35 for Cary residents for ten games, others $60 at teamsidelines.com.
Durham also has men’s and co-rec softball leagues with team signup and free agent players.
Chapel Hill holds registration in August for fall bocce league at the Community Center ($125/team).
