In preparation for school and college enrollments later this summer, Orange County Health Dept. (OCHD) reminds families that vaccinations are an important part of overall health and back-to-school success.
“Health care providers and families have the same goal: A healthy future for all children,” said Erica Pettigrew, MD, JD, MPH, OCHD Medical Director. “Vaccines are an essential piece of child, teen and family well-being. You can use any health care visit, including for sports or camp physicals, school health assessments, checkups and sick visits to ensure your child is up to date with their vaccines.”
Vaccine information will be available at the inaugural OCPH Family Resource Fair Saturday, July 18, 10-2 at the Whitted Center, W. Tryon St., Hillsborough. Questions? Contact the Health Dept. 919-245-2400, orangecountync.hov/health.
