In past years a mix of Durham and Orange basketball shooters dominated the Orange County Senior Games. This year Durham players defected, stayed home and dominated the Durham County Senior Games 70-74 age group hoops shooting leaderboard.
Here are the Durham results: Mike Sardi first, making 17 of 18, Kelly Turner second, 16, Chuck Friend and Kevin Reily deadlocked for third, 15, Kevin Kelly fifth, 14, Wayne Terrell, sixth, 13. Many of them play for Double Nickels, a senior 3v3 team.
