For streaming, the Hurricanes Hockey Network will be on Prime Video ($19.99/mo, $99.99/yr). Still no word on cable or satellite plans.
Sculpture in the Garden, the 38th annual outdoor exhibit at the N.C. Botanical Garden, Chapel Hill, features works by 66 local artists. They are displayed in a natural setting. Open daily except Mondays and UNC holidays through Dec. 8. Free.

Mead Festival, a mini-Renaissance event with swordfighting demos, takes place Saturday, Sep. 26, 12-5 at Starlight Mead, 130 Lorax Lane, Pittsboro.
Cape Fear Distillery launched Tar Heel-branded liquors (vodka, whiskey, rum, coconut cream) called the Spirit of Carolina with UNC Athletics which debuted at the first fall home football game in Chapel Hill.

A community survey in Chapel Hill this spring found 28 percent of households responding were very satisfied, 49 percent satisfied, 17 percent neutral, 8 percent dissatisfied with town parks, greenways and recreation facilities.
