The N.C. State Fair runs Oct. 15-25 in Raleigh. Save on admission tickets and rides by getting discounted tickets in advance at etix.com or at the fair office at the fairgrounds, gate 9 (Trinity Rd.) or the State Farmers’ Market.
Tickets are $10 online through Oct. 15 instead of $13 at the gate. Youth 13 & under are $5 in advance, $7 at gate. Seniors 65+ $5 (free Tuesday, Oct. 20).
College Day at the Fair is opening day Oct. 15 ($8), with a N.C. college ID.
Hunger Relief Day is Thursday, Oct. 23. Bring six cans of non-perishable food for free admission.
