Amy Berkman (3:25:02) of Hillsborough was the women’s winner at 35th Uwharrie Mountain Run 20 Miler in Ophir. Benjamin Godfres (2:48:54) of Morrisville was first male. There were 158 finishers, compared to 171 last year, for the single track trail run, one three races that day. The races sold out last fall.

Maeve Gualtieri-Reed (1:21:01) of Chapel Hill was second female and Lisa Dunn (1:24:32) of Carrboro third in the 8 Miler (154 finishers, down from 168 in 2025). Winners were Neal Mesca of Durham and Sarah Swentfleger of Greensboro.
