Brumley Bridge Back In Business

The Brumley Bridge is back.

“Last July, Tropical Storm Chantal swept away the large bridge crossing Stony Creek on Springhouse Loop at Brumley South Nature Preserve, Chapel Hill. Eight months later—thanks to the generous support of our donors—the bridge has officially been rebuilt and reopened. A special thanks to Ellie and Bob De Vries and Triangle Off-Road Cyclists for their generous gifts that helped make this replacement possible.

“With the bridge restored, you can once again explore Brumley South in its full capacity. Both sides of the preserve are now accessible from both New Hope Church and University Station parking lots.”
