The Triangle-based Carolina Sailing Club, which stages races at Jordan and Kerr Lake, has one race remaining (May 19) at Jordan before the summer action moves to Kerr Lake. Skippers’ meet at 10 a.m. at Vista Point, race gun at 11:30. New sailors welcome. Check the club’s website (carolinasailingclub.org) for information.
The club’s biggest event, the 61st Annual Governor’s Cup, takes place June 15-17 off Henderson Point. Last year over 80 boats in eight fleets competed in one-design regatta.
