The inaugural Chapel Hill Biscuit Festival will bring together the state’s finest chefs, bakers and local purveyors on Oct. 24-25.
There’s a hands-on children’s biscuit baking class for kids 8-12 (Saturday 10-12 noon, $75) at the SECU Family House on Mason Farm Road near Finley Golf Course, Chapel Hill, and a curated chef tasting event (Sunday 2-6) at American Legion Post 6, 3700 NC54W with savory and sweet creations, local spirits and live music.
Proceeds benefit SECU Family House. Tickets to the tasty event are pricey, VIP $100, general admission $75. Must be 21+.
