Wake Forest, Syracuse men’s programs and UNC women have basketball general managers, in addition to Duke and now UNC’s Jim Tanner (CSN, Feb 2025).
Here’s an outline on the staffing:
Wake Forest: head coach, four assistant coaches, director of basketball operations, general manager, video coordinator, dir. of player relations, dir. of men’s basketball sports performance, head athletic trainer for MBB.
Syracuse: head coach, three assistant coaches, dir. of basketball operations, general manager, dir. of strength and conditioning MBB, office coordinator, associate athletic trainer MBB, producer/videographer, MBB data analyst.
UNC women: head coach and associate head coach, four assistant coaches, general manager/special assistant to the head coach, dir of basketball operations, assistant dir. of recruiting and video ops, video coordinator/ graduate assistant, dir. of sports performance WBB, staff athletic trainer (WBB), dir. of creative content.
