Dave’s Not Here Wins In Darts

Dave’s Not Here swept six of eight singles matches and rolled 12-4 over Darty Old Men for the spring Triangle Dart League championship in Durham. Dave’s was second in the regular season behind DOM.

Singles winners were Bill Jesperson, Matt Ridgeway, Douglas DiMichelle (2), Stuart Baxter (2) of Dave’s, with Matt Heimbach and Michael Lovelace winning for DOM. DiMichelle/Ridgeway, Jesperson/Chris Zaharek scored in doubles. Tom Redick/Lovelace took a doubles win for Darty. Baxter/Zaharek closed it out with Baxter hitting the match dart.

SN will make some format changes for the next edition in July to reduce the editor’s workload. The paper will continue with a monthly feature (like Way Too Early ACC Hoops next month), road and bike race results, local league updates and rec news. The idea is to reduce the number of pages and the amount of content so he can take some time off and travel. Many of CSN’s former writers have already retired.
