DiChiara Leads Big Run 5K

Jeffrey DiChiara (17:09) of Chapel Hill was first male at the Big Run 5K in Hillsborough (262 finishers, down 3 from last year). Aidan Scott (17:46) of Chapel Hill was second and Caleb Wyninger (18:30) of Hillsborough third.

Women’s winner was Mia Paolina (18:55) of Burnt Hills, NY, with Abbigayle Morrell, Hillsborough, 19:56, second, and Ella McCall, 16, of Hillsborough, 20:23, third.

SN will make some format changes for the next edition in July to reduce the editor’s workload. The paper will continue with a monthly feature (like Way Too Early ACC Hoops next month), road and bike race results, local league updates and rec news. The idea is to reduce the number of pages and the amount of content so he can take some time off and travel. Many of CSN’s former writers have already retired.
