Duke University Golf Club hosts U.S. Open qualifying for both men and women.
Qualifying for the 80th U.S. Women’s Open will be April 28. It’s the only N.C. qualifier for the May 29-June 1 event at Erin Hills (Wis).
Duke is one of the final qualifying sites (June 2) for the 125th U.S. Open at Oakmont CC (Pa) June 12-15. Early qualifying also is scheduled May 7 at River Landing (River Course) in Wallace and May 9 at Lonnie Poole, Raleigh.
U.S. Opens in Pinehurst
Bryson DeChambeau won last year’s Open at Pinehurst No. 2 by one stroke over Rory McIlroy. The Open returns there in 2029 when Pinehurst hosts both the men’s and women’s championship.
