Area farmers’ markets will expand hours and operations in April and keep them into late fall.
Carrboro FM will operate 7-12 Saturday and hold Wednesday Market 3-6 starting in April at the Town Commons. May 3 is Strawberry Day, July 12 Tomato Day.
Beginning in April the Chapel Hill FM at University Place runs 8-12 Saturday and holds Tuesday Market 3-6.
Eno FM in downtown Hillsborough Saturday hours shift to 8-12 in April.
Fearrington FM is Tuesday 3-5 year-round in Fearrington Village.
Briar Chapel FM opens March 28. Hours are Friday 4-6 at 161 Salt Cedar Lane.
The Pittsboro FM is Thursday 3-6 at The Plant, 220 Lorax Lane, and Chatham Mills FM operates Saturday 8-12 starting in April.
