Two high end Wake County golf courses have new owners.
According to Triangle Business Journal, Bain Capital of Boston is acquiring private golf and club operator Concert Golf Partners of Lake Mary, FL, (39 properties across the country including McGregor Downs CC in Cary and the Club at 12 Oaks in Holly Springs) from Clearlake Capital as part of a $1.3B deal, according to Bloomberg.
They originally acquired 12 Oaks (Jack Nicklaus-designed course) for $4.25M in 2018 and bought McGregor Downs in 2014 for $3.4M.
