A charity softball game, coached by UNC players, between UNC Police and Carrboro and Chapel Hill Fire Rescue is part of a Saturday, Aug. 29, fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities at 1 p.m. at UNC’s Anderson Field (the bottom of Raleigh Road behind the UNC offices). Admission is free but donations of personal items for McDonald House guests will be accepted. Food and beverages will be sold.
