The Nations Cup international rugby tournament has two matches scheduled in North Carolina this summer in advance of the 2027 Men Rugby World Cup in Australia. There are 12 teams in two divisions for the Nations Cup and Charlotte is one of about a dozen U.S. cities competing to host 2031 World Cup matches in the U.S.
USA Eagles (#16) will play Zimbabwe (#24) Saturday, July 11, at 7:30 p.m. at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte and they will play #17 Spain July 18, at 7:30 p.m. at First Horizon Stadium, WakeMed SP in Cary.

Anthem Rugby Carolina of Charlotte, a Major League Rugby team in the nation’s top league, plays at American Legion Memorial Stadium. The team is considered a developmental team for the USA Eagles. Anthem also hosted two international games last summer in Charlotte.
