Jordyn Homoki (1:04:09) of Chapel Hill was third woman at Triangle Open Water Challenge 2.4 miler at Vista Point, Jordan Lake. WTs were 50:31 and 57:42 (33 finishers). Water temp was 73 degrees May 2, about the same as last fall’s Open Water Championship. This year it will be Oct. 4 at Vista Point.
Jonathan Dunkman, Chapel Hill, was first 40-44, 1:06:14; Kasey Linton, Chapel Hill, third 20-24, 1:25:54.
Jenna Halenda (30:30) of Chapel Hill, was third woman in the 1.2 miler (48). WTs were 25:01 and 28:29.
