Richardson Takes Ten Miler

Brian Richardson (1:07:57) of Chapel Hill, who finished second last year, was the men’s winner at the 18th Phil­os­opher’s Way Ten Miler Trail at Carolina North, Chapel Hill. There were 76 finishers, down 7 from 2025.

Matt Straub (1:10:32) of Carrboro who took third last year was second and Philip Tosteson (1:11:12) of Chicago third.

Women’s winner was Myriam Keen (1:26:00) of Chapel Hill, with Natalie Bowman (1:28:38) of Chapel Hill, last year’s winner, second and Leah Blasiak (1:34:06) of Chapel Hill third.

Masters winners were Peter Alexander of Durham, 1:13:04, and Lisa Hecker, Mebane, 1:38:21.

Lisa Dunn (36:59) of Carrboro repeated as women’s winner at the PGTR 7K in Chapel Hill. Aphelion Astrachan (40:48) of Durham was second and Sondra Jones (41:22) of Carrboro third. There were 120 finishers, up ten from last year.

Colin Thomson (31:28) of Chapel Hill was first male, followed by Anthony Corriveau (31:33) of Cary and Paul Zivich (33:53) of Carrboro.

Thomas Soth (34:48) of Chapel Hill and Emily Cox (41:20) of Durham were the masters leaders.
