After the race head to the polls for early voting.
MEDOC Trail Race Oct.17 in Hollister is closed out. Foothills TriFest in Spindale was postponed.
REGISTRATION opens (and likely closes) Nov. 1 at 8 a.m. on runsignup.com for 36th Uwharrie Mountain Run 40/20/8m trail Feb. 6 in Ophir. It’ll fill up fast.

GARMIN Marathon Series returns for year two in Durham May 1. M/HM/10K/5K races will start at American Tobacco Campus and end at Brooks Field, Wallace Wade Stadium, Duke. The first year had about 6,000 runners.
SECOND Cane Creek Mountain Trail Run HM/10K in Snow Camp was postponed until Sunday, Oct. 11, due to weather issues.
FIT & Able Productions of Cary, a nonprofit, puts on monthly races in Wake County that are family friendly for all skill levels and are inexpensive.
CSN does not list or report on US Road Running Races or N.C. Brewery Run events. Neither are of good value.

OLDEST Triangle running club is probably N.C. Roadrunners, Raleigh, (1979) but it’s apparently fading.
