BodyArmor State Games has five winter sports: Feb. 21, Flag Football Tournament at Herndon Park, Durham; Esports Feb. 21-22 at Hilton Raleigh North Hills; pickleball March 12-15 at PinPoint, downtown Raleigh; March 20-22 Figure Skating at Greensboro Ice House. Youth and adult hockey will be March 13-15 at Raleigh rinks.
Pickleball will have 10+, 35+. 50+, 65+ age divisions for singles, doubles, mixed doubles and costs $75/player plus $10 tech fee. Register at pickleballden.com.
For flag football there are five divisions–5s women non contact, 5s women contact, 5s men, 5s coed, 8s coed. Fees are $200 for 5s, $350 for 8s. Tournament format will be based on the number of teams signed up.
