Swim for Charlie teaches second graders in Orange/Durham schools water safety skills and how to swim. The program, which served 747 children from 11 schools in the fall with 80 volunteers and paid staffers, provides eight sessions over two weeks. Each session is 40 minutes.
They’re adding two new pool partners, Jewish For Good and Woodcroft Swim & Tennis Club. They join Orange Co. Sportsplex, Edison Johnson Aquatic Center, Hollow Rock Racquet, Hope Valley CC, Durham Faculty Club.
