The Asheville Municipal Golf Course, designed by Donald Ross, opened in 1927, was the first municipal course in the state and the first racially integrated course in WNC.
Flooding from Hurricane Helene devastated (washed away) the front nine last fall. The city is seeking FEMA assistance to rebuild the holes. Meanwhile, the back nine is open for play. Call the pro office for tee times.
