TST Champions

Hernandez United d. Pumas de Alabama 3-2 for the men’s championship at 4th (TST) The Soccer Tournament 7v7 event at WakeMed in Cary. It was another record year. Attendance for the tournament was 57,942.

Iowa Demon Hawks d. Simply Futbol FC 2-1 in the women’s final and Peluche Hawks d. Sneaky FC 4-3 for the mixed championship. Each winner received a $1M check.

SN will make some format changes for the next edition in July to reduce the editor’s workload. The paper will continue with a monthly feature (like Way Too Early ACC Hoops next month), road and bike race results, local league updates and rec news. The idea is to reduce the number of pages and the amount of content so he can take some time off and travel. Many of CSN’s former writers have already retired.
