UNC, Duke Tied In Spring Sports

North Carolina and Duke tied 8-8 in spring sports wins. Only regular season games between the two schools are counted.

Baseball split 2-2, men’s and women’s basketball both were 1-1, Duke took two of three in softball. UNC won wrestling. Tennis and lax also split 1-1. For example, Duke men and UNC women won in lax, UNC won in women’s tennis, Duke in men’s tennis.

UNC and Duke tied 5-5 in fall sports.

The U.S./Canada/Mexico host the 48-team event starting June 11, 104 matches at 16 venues (13 in the U.S.).

The U.S. opener is June 12 at 9 p.m. in California. Game 2 June 19 against Australia in Seattle and game 3 against Turkey. June 25 in Los Angeles.
