UNC Hockey Club Faces Home Slate

UNC hockey club struggled through the fall portion of the schedule (5-6-2), but has six of the first seven in the second half of the year at home where they’re 3-1.

The Tar Heels hosted West Chester and Temple and will play Oregon ( 3 p.m. Jan. 24) at Orange County Sportsplex, Hillsborough, and at Fort Bragg (11 a.m. Jan. 25) before hosting division mate Louisville (8:30 p.m. Jan. 30, 10:15 Jan. 31), Cincinnati (7 p.m. Feb. 6) and the next day in Charlotte before hitting the road against Lehigh for two games to close out the regular season.

Carolina is third place (2-4-0-1) in the ACCHL’s M1 South division with 6 points. NC State and Kentucky have 13, Louisville is fifth (3 points).
