UNC Men Slide Into First Four

Duke, Clemson, Louisville and North Carolina are the ACC clubs in the men’s NCAA Tournament.

The Blue Devils are a one seed in the East and open against the First Four winner (America v. Mount St. Marys) March 21 in Raleigh.

Clemson is a 5 seed in Midwest and faces #12 McNeese March 20; Louisville, an 8 seed in the South, meets #9 Creighton; UNC plays San Diego State in the First Four in Dayton March 18 for an 11 seed in the South and the winner advances to play Ole Miss March 21.

Broadcasters on men’s selection shows Sunday night questioned North Carolina’s getting in. They were the last team in and panelists suggested West Virginia, Indiana, Ohio State, Boise State earned it or deserved it.
