The Scotland National Team will use Charlotte FC training facilities in Charlotte for the World Cup. They can do that because Major League Soccer (MLS) is taking a seven-week break for the WC from May 15 to July 16.
They are the third team training in North Carolina. Germany will be at Wake Forest University and Norway in Greensboro. The U.S. will train at Grant Park Sports Complex in Irvine, CA.
The five remaining World Cup team slots will be determined in games March 26/31. Questions about teams from Iraq and other world hotspots have not been resolved.
