First Biscuits and Banjos, April 25-27, Durham, inside, including Rhiannon Giddens’ “Old Time Revue” at DPAC, biscuitsandbanjos.com/tickets. Her show sold out (waiting list), but the festival has some free outdoor events, on a first-come basis.
Raleigh Wide Open 25 returns Oct. 3-4 to downtown Raleigh, succeeding IBMA World of Bluegrass which was lured away to Chattanooga, TN.
